CCLC and Thomas Jefferson University are excited to announce that effective November 19, 2013 CCLC will be the new child care provider to Thomas Jefferson University.

CCLC is excited to have been selected as the new child care provider at Thomas Jefferson University. We are committed to working with Jefferson, enrolled families, and existing staff to ensure a smooth transition. The most important factor of a transition is continuity of care for the children.

We look forward to meeting all of the families and children!

We will be posting information on this transition website as new information becomes available; so please check back on a regular basis.

We are continuing to work with these staff members and answer any questions they may have. Out of respect, we would like to ask that you please allow them to time to make this decision and wait for additional updates from CCLC before approaching a particular staff member.

We are also in the process of recruiting a Center Director for the center. We will be interviewing both internal CCLC and external candidates. It is very important to us that we find a Center Director that is a good fit for the center and will build strong relationships with all families and staff. We will be sure to keep you posted about our Center Director recruiting efforts.

A key factor during the transition period will be continuous communication between CCLC, families, staff and Jefferson. CCLC has created many methods for families to receive center transition updates. We will be posting information on this transition website, so please check back for updates.

Additionally we will be distributing a weekly newsletter to enrolled families and staff with more specific details about the transition. To make contacting us easy, we have created a center specific email address. Please feel free to email us at Jefferson@cclc.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

+Our Curriculum and Programs

We never miss an opportunity to educate. We will slowly transition from the centers current curriculum to CCLC’s unique Early Foundations curriculum. Our curriculum was developed with the vision of guiding children of all ages through the learning process, rather than showing them how to learn, and is based on national standards and scientific research to ensure that your child gets the best possible start in life.

CCLC will be mindful of the curriculum experiences that the children are currently engaged in daily. The only change you may see right away are different forms such as daily reports sent home, injury and accident reports, and other CCLC forms used to communicate with our parents.
