I claim New Mexico as where I grew up, but I've lived in Northern CA since 1983.
What do you love most about your job?
I love interacting with teams, problem solving and sharing information! I also enjoy presenting at conferences, conducting staff development and parent education workshops.
If you could meet a famous person (alive or dead), who would you want to meet/why?
I would want to meet Oprah Winfrey so I could pick her brain about how she became so influential. I'm curious to learn how she decides what to make public and why (and if it's true to who she is).
Who is your hero/why?
Harriet Tubman—her story is inspiring—to do what is right, morally right, against all that she had to battle.
What inspires you?
Aha moments – when someone unexpectedly understands something.
What was your favorite subject in school/why?
Spelling – I always wanted to be a spelling bee star!
