Grew up in Central Florida (Ocala), which is about one hour west of Orlando.

What do you love most about your job?
Working with people who genuinely care about other people and children, making an impact on the lives of children.

If you could meet a famous person (alive or dead), who would you want to meet/why?
I would like to meet Hillary Clinton because I think she has overcome some major obstacles and stands to make a major historical impact on our country and women everywhere. I also think that she stands true to what she believes in and is a big supporter of children.

Who is your hero/why?
My grandmother. She gave everything she had to her family and she taught me so much about what it takes to be a great person. She was absolutely amazing. When she died, she got an award from the local hospital for the most volunteer hours served EVER.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by people who are making a difference in the world whether it is one person or a whole organization.

What was your favorite subject in school/why?
Social Studies. I love looking in to the past and studying how things happened. I love anything cultural - Chinese, Asian, Middle Eastern studies are all very interesting to me. Social Studies has so many disciplines that are of interest to me - Government, History, Psychology, and Sociology.

What is (or was, growing up) your favorite color crayon?
I am a big fan of blue--all shades.
