Formative Geographic Location (where did you grow up)?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. My parents have lived in the same house I grew up in for more than 40 years.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating teams who work cohesively together within centers, within regions and within the company as a whole. I love to support directors and see them be successful. I love watching children in our centers thrive and truly learn from their experiences with us. The best feeling in my job is when I see a child start with us as an infant and then I watch them graduate from our pre-k programs. That is success.
If you could meet a famous person (alive or dead), who would you want to meet/why?
This is probably very superficial, but it would have to be Jon Bon Jovi. I have been a huge fan of his since grade school and have never grown out of my childhood crush. But of course, Jesus Christ would have to top my list as well.
Who is your hero/why?
I would have to say my mom. She raised six children and always put being a parent before anything else in her life. Even now that we are all grown up, she continues to be a support for all of us and our growing families.
What inspires you?
My children inspire me to be the best person I can be, both personally and professionally.
What was your favorite subject in school/why?
I took a psychology class in high school and it helped me decide the direction of my future career.
What is (or was, growing up) your favorite color crayon?
Pink (was and is).
