We are seeking a creative, dedicated, natural born leader to drive excellence throughout our premium child care center for our Cisco child care center in San Jose, CA. This proactive, strategic leadership role will strive to exceed clients’ stated goals through leading and developing others and managing all functions within this center.  She/he will execute against the center’s financial performance, quality, and client satisfaction goals.  They will play a consistent role in communicating and connecting the initiatives between the center, the client and CCLC.  This individual will be instrumental in creating and supporting a unique culture for our high-profile client’s center, staff, and their employee families.  

The ideal candidate will have seasoned experience in all aspects of managing either a large high-profile client child care center (up to 300 children) or managing a region of smaller centers with an expert understanding of operations, client service, and team and organizational development. This position oversees all aspects of operations for a large, Fortune 100 high tech company on-site child care center and must be an innovative thinker, an operational expert, a team motivator with a high degree of instinct and passion for customer service.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Implements operational plans to accomplish center goals.  Supporting activities include:
    • Ensuring consistent delivery of quality educational programs in concert with our client sponsor
    • Coaching center management team including directors and holding them accountable for the daily and ongoing operations of a large quality child care center 
    • Representing an operational perspective at the center level and provide pertinent information to their Director of Center Operations 
  • Develops direct reports. The ED will sustain training and development for Center Directors.  They will provide coaching and performance management the Center Directors.  They will be accountable for achieving/exceeding the center’s turnover goals. 
  • ED will have P/L responsibility and will manage the center appropriately and be accountable for revenue targets, expense control and client objectives as well as focusing specifically on challenging issues such as staff management and enrollment.  
  • Supports Client/CCLC values through all actions and communications 
  • Creates and maintains a unique center culture through involvement and understanding of client expectations
  • Holds center management team accountable for active compliance with all federal, state and Company polices and regulations.
  • Recruit and retain the best of class child care providers and provide a training plan to support current and future goals.
  • Facilitate the implementation of appropriate curriculum on an ongoing basis.
