As Center Director, Jamie’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Jamie acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Jamie has been Center Director of this center for the past two years.  Prior to this leading this center, Jamie served as the Assistant Director for 2 years at another high quality child care center and school.  In addition, she was a teacher for a private child care center for 5 years. Jamie completed her BA Degree in Child Development last year. What she loves most about her job is the children and making a difference in their lives. Jamie’s favorite center activity is sensory play and making a mess!
