As Center Director, Jennifer’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Jennifer acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Jennifer Turner has been working in the field of child development since 1999 and has been a center director since 2002. Jennifer has experience working with children ranging in age from infant through school age. She holds her B.A. degree in Child Development from San Jose State University. Ms. Turner was selected in June 2005 to join the CCLC team as the Director of the brand new Folsom center. She is extremely dedicated to quality child care and believes that children learn best through a variety of rich experiences in a nurturing environment. Jennifer, along with her husband and three children relocated to the Folsom area in July 2005 from the Bay Area. What she loves most about her job is supporting families and providing a safe place for children to learn. Jennifer’s favorite center activity is the Harvest Festival that includes a potluck, music, and a costume parade.
