As Center Director, Lori’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Lori acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Lori has been with CCLC since October of 2000, and spent almost seven years at the Los Altos Campus before transferring to Covington in August 2007. She was the Program Supervisor for over a year before being promoted to the Director position. Lori has a background in Child Development with over 24 ECE units and possesses 10 years of experience in the field. She is currently a member of NAEYC. In her spare time, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and her family, camping and shopping. What she loves most about her job is getting the best of both worlds – the administrative side and the children. Lori’s favorite center activity is messy sensory projects.
