As Center Director, Anna’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Anna acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Anna’s experience working with children began as a swim instructor and a swim coach for two teams. She has also worked as a lifeguard for several years. Anna has held various early childhood education positions ranging from Teacher to Head Teacher. Anna has an A.A. in Liberal Studies and a BA in Child Adolescent Development with a concentration in school age children from San Francisco State University. Anna enjoys seeing children grow in a positive and enriching environment and enjoys helping them develop into functioning young adults. What she loves best about her job are the children. Anna’s favorite time at the center is helping with homework and project time with the kids. She enjoys the look of accomplishment on their face when the have completed something to their best ability.
