As Center Director, Jody’s  role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work or at school, knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Jody acts as the on-site point of contact with the University answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Jody joined the CCLC family in September, 2010. She has worked as an administrator in the child development field for over 12 years Jody holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Child Development and is completing her Master's degree in Child Psychology, emphasizing in Early Childhood Education. Jody loves the relationship aspect about her job, connecting with each child, family and staff member. She realizes the impact of her job and that each day is an opportunity to give each child the love, support and confidence they truly deserve.
