As Center Director, Cheryl’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Cheryl acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Cheryl has been with CCLC sine 2009 and has been in the field for 19 years. She holds an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Human Development. She is married with 3 children. What Cheryl loves most about her job is knowing that no two days will ever be exactly the same and that there’s always a smiling face at the center. She is inspired by working with children and their families. Her favorite center activities include gardening, body painting and goop in a sensory tub outside on a beautiful day – the messier the better!
