As Center Director, Stacey’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Stacey acts as the on-site point of contact with Union Station Gateway Metropolitan Transportation answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Stacey has been with CCLC since 2008 and in the field for 11 years. She has a degree in Child Development and a 12 year old daughter. Her hobbies include reading, running, biking and snowboarding. She loves the fact that she can touch a child’s life in such small ways. A simple hug, high five and just listening to them tell a story means so much to a child and knowing that she has helped them venture out into this big world is truly a great feeling. Stacey loves cooking with the children; taking them through the step by step process and involving them from the beginning to end.
