As Center Director, Christine’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Christine acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Christine has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1981.  Christine has been with CCLC since 2004. Christine holds her Master’s degree in Child Development and enjoys working with and supporting the families at her center. What she likes best about her job is the daily interactions and the daily accomplishments. Christine’s favorite center activity is getting to know - more intimately - all her children, families and her wonderful teachers!

Program Information

Mary Alice O’Connor Family Center/Buena Vista Family Center uses an exclusive educational program which provides unlimited opportunities for the development of the whole child. There's a unique curriculum for every age level, centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities that help children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Center provides care first to those who lives in Burbank housing, next to those living or working in city of Burbank and finally to community members.
