As Center Director, Stephanie’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Stephanie acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Stephanie has been with CCLC since 2004 and in the field of early childhood education since 2000.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology from Simpson College in Iowa.  She is married with two children and a dog.  She enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.  What she loves most about her job is developing a relationship with the whole center community…families, staff, and children.  Stephanie’s favorite center activity is the school-wide “Carnival” in August - a time when families bond with one another.
