As Center Director, Diane’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Diane acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Diane has been with CCLC since February and has been in the field since 1978. She has a BS in Social Studies, is certified to teach early childhood education and has 3 children of her own. She loves building a level of trust between families and the staff at the center. Diane is inspired when her efforts and improvements are appreciated because it means that she’s making a difference. She is also inspired by staff members who have very little yet come everyday with a positive and cheerful attitude. Her favorite center activity is teaching.
