As Center Director, Jenelle’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Jenelle acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Jenelle began her career in early childhood education in 1990 when she joined the Lake Buena Vista KinderCare partnered with Disney as a teacher.  When that center closed in early 2005, Jenelle joined the team at Dr. Phillips KinderCare and was promoted to Center Director 2007.  Jenelle has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Seminole Community College and has earned her CDA and Director’s Credentials.  She is inspired to be her best each and every day by her family – her husband, two children, and 2-year-old grandson. Jenelle’s favorite center activity is the Fall Festival – she loves getting together and having fun!
