As Center Director, Sandy’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Sandy acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Sandy began her career in Early Childhood Education in 1991. She joined the CMS center in 1999, working with children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. Sandy’s experience includes working as a teacher, infant/toddler coordinator and assistant director. She earned her degree in Human Services Management. Sandy is very passionate about providing a quality care environment for young children, as well as helping staff grow professionally. She is happy to be a part of CCLC and looking forward to many more years of service. What she loves most about her job is getting hugs from the children and helping staff grow professionally. Sandy’s favorite center activity is rolling on the floor with the kids and playing with the babies.
