As Center Director, Christy’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Christy acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Christy has been with the company for 8 years and has over 15 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education.  Christy earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and understands firsthand the benefits of having your children nearby while you work – Christy enjoys being a part of that same benefit for Jackson parents. What she loves most about her job is making an impact on children and giving them love and attention. Christy’s favorite center activity is any activity that brings the entire center and all the families together.
