As Center Director, Liz’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Liz acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Liz has been with CCLC for over seven years.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at SUNY Geneseo. Liz taught grade school and preschool and worked as a Center Director at another provider before joining CCLC.  Before becoming the Center Director at CCLC at Rochester General Hospital, Liz was a teacher, staff trainer, and Assistant Director at another center in Rochester.  Liz loves the opportunity to support working parents at the hospital by providing them with a great child care option so that they can go to work worry free every day. Liz’s favorite center activity is staff monthly lunches – it’s a great time to relax and chat.
