As Center Director, Annette’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Annette acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Annette has been with CCLC for over 15 years and was recently promoted to Center Director. She attended Portland State University and recently acquired her Child Development Associate degree. Annette is married with a 17 year old son. She enjoys camping, walking her dog “Rocky”, cleaning, and being with her family. What she loves most about her job is the children and the families. She is inspired by her faith and her family. Her favorite activity is helping with breaks in the infant room and playing in home living with the preschoolers.  The children inspire her everyday and their smiles and hugs make every day brighter.
