Who is eligible to use the Center?

First priority for enrollment into the child care Center is for students of California State University San Marcos, enrolled families of the current ASI Early Learning Center and ASI ELC waitlist families. If spaces remain available after all first-priority personnel have been accommodated, the available spaces are filled by the second priority.

Second priority spaces are for the University faculty and staff of California State University San Marcos. Third priority spaces are for the general public. University students, faculty and staff of California State University San Marcos will have priority enrollment over other groups if the Center has a waiting list. Employment status and eligibility will be verified before the enrollment process can be completed.

How do I enroll my child in the Center?

Families have two options for completing the enrollment process. Under Option A, families may send the application form via fax to CCLC. Under Option B, families may send the application to our home office (address below). Under either option, once the interest form has been received, the form will be time-stamped. The date that the interest form is received is important. You will be placed on the waiting list in the order in which the form was received. The Interest Form can be downloaded here. All families must complete a CCLC Interest Form and application-current center forms are not transferable.

When Will I know if I have a space in the program?

CCLC will be in contact with families participating in the enrollment process every step of the way. The enrollment steps are listed below:

I want to enroll at a future date. How do I get on the waiting list?

Families who are interested in enrolling in the center will be placed on the center waitlist. To be placed on the waiting list, please complete the Waitlist Form and submit the $25 non-refundable fee. Families will be added to the waitlist in the order that the Waitlist Form was received. Please be sure to indicate your desired start date.

Families should send the waiting list form via fax (number is located on the bottom of the form) to CCF and mail the payment in the form of personal or cashier's check to the center directly (address below). Once the waiting list form and payment have been received, the form will be time-stamped. The date that the form is received is important, you will be placed on the waiting list in the order in which the form was received. A form and $25 fee is required per child (siblings need individual forms). The form can be downloaded here

What is the cost to use the Center for Children and Families?

Tuition rates for enrolled families are competitive with other child care Centers in the City of San Marcos and neighboring areas. Tuition rates can be found in the forms section
