CCLC is honored to be the child care provider at the CCLC at Penn Plaza. We are committed to working with Horizon BCBSNJ, center families and staff.

Center Quality & Features

1. NAEYC Standards: The CCLC at Penn Plaza will follow NAEYC standard by offering the high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum with low teacher / child ratios. The center will be set up to meet and in some cases exceed the accreditation standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) -- a highly regarded child development organization. NAEYC standards are only achieved by 8% of all 110,000 programs nationally. CCLC has successfully achieved NAEYC accreditation and reaccreditation at most of our centers. We strongly believe in the quality standards which NEAYC has set for child care centers.

2. Low Ratios: The center will operate with low teacher to child ratios and small group sizes. This allows the teaching staff to focus more on small group and individual needs of each child.

3. Early Foundations®: Our Early Foundations curriculum is organized into theme-based units that address complex topics that encourage children to develop their skills and confidence. Each unit incorporates language, math, science, creative arts, music, motor skills and social development.  Our Early Foundations program provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn. Your child will make new friends and develop self-confidence as he or she strengthens cognitive skills.  

4. Teaching Staff: Where necessary, CCLC will hire additional staff that are Early Childhood Professionals who meet or exceed all state requirements.
