Stanford Family Child Care Registration & Costs
Who is eligible to use the center?
In order to serve the Stanford University Community, Stanford Arboretum Children's Center provides child care services ONLY for families affiliated with Stanford University. If you meet the eligibility requirements and want more information about the waiting list, please visit Stanford University's WorkLife Office. Affiliation is determined by one parent or legal guardian affiliated in one of the following ways:
- Stanford University: regular staff employee, faculty or student with full-time status
- Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC): regular employee
- Stanford Hospitals and Clinics: regular or relief employee; resident or intern
- Lucile Packard Children's Hospital: regular or relief employee; resident or intern
- Drop-ins (as room allows): does NOT have to be affiliated for emergency situation, e.g. child or sibling of patient at hospital
Alumnus status is not considered an affiliation
How do I enroll my child in the center?
Open tours are available every Monday at 10:00 am and Thursdays at 4:00 pm, unless the center is closed. At that time you will have an opportunity to tour the center and ask specific questions. No appointment is necessary. How do I know if there is space in my child's age group?

What is the cost to use the Stanford Arboretum Children's Center?
The tuition for participating employees is in line with that of other comparable, high - quality centers in the area. Tuition rates can be found in the forms section.
