Regional or Nationwide Specialized Dependent Care Programs
CCLC is dedicated to designing innovative solutions for our partners. To meet identified needs in the workplace, we have developed a wide variety of specialized dependent care programs. These programs, which can be implemented on a regional or national basis, allow our clients to:
- Meet the needs of a nationwide, distributed workforce
- Support employees' child care needs in particular markets with high demand
- Raise the bar for employee benefits in the market and distinguish the organization as an employer of choice
- Offer non-designated-center-based child care benefits (without the cost and time to develop a dedicated child care center)
- Offer equitable benefits to employees whether they choose to use center-based or non-center-based care for their child/ren
- Analyze the particular child care needs of an employee population
These programs include:
Space Available Backup Child Care at KinderCare Learning Centers
Our backup child care program helps employers reduce absenteeism while providing working parents with high-quality child care solutions in the event that their usual arrangements are disrupted. Our proven program provides families with an efficient placement process and peace of mind that their children are receiving the best care possible during a time that could otherwise be stressful.
Bay Area Regional Backup Care at CCLC Centers
In 2002, CCLC designed a regional backup child care program to meet the needs of Bay Area employers, leveraging our strength in operating centers in this market. We identify available space in area centers, and parents seeking alternative care arrangements can identify and reserve these spaces through a dedicated online reservation system. Because this program operates using a select network of centers in a particular market, it is managed separately from our other backup care programs.
Dependent Care Access Program
Through CCLC's dependent care access program, employees receive priority access to our affiliated network of high-quality community learning centers across the country or in a particular region where demand is high. Employees save time and trouble locating full-time, high-quality child care.
Tuition Discount Program, Kindustry®
CCLC also offers a nationwide tuition discount program, Kindustry, which provides employees with a weekly discount off full-time and part-time care in our affiliated KinderCare Learning Center network of high-quality community-based learning centers nationwide. The program is available for preschool through school-age classrooms only, excludes infant and toddler rooms, and is available only as an add-on feature combined with another dependent care program.
Employee Needs Assessment
Performing a targeted needs assessment or feasibility study of employees allows our clients to determine what programs will most effectively meet the needs of their community. CCLC can help design and implement a comprehensive study that analyzes employee child care needs, child care resources in the market, and demographics of the employee base and market. CCLC can benchmark the findings against national and local standards and help turn the data into child care program recommendations.
