Programs Offered

  • Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)

    Infant Programs (6 Weeks-1 Year)

When your infant is in our care, we are committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment that meets your needs and the needs of your child. As your infant grows and changes – which happens on a daily basis at this stage – we make changes, too, so development and learning unfolds naturally.

  • Toddler Programs (1-2 years)

    Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)

Toddlers are explorers on the road to learning. They walk all over, eat table food and often take just one nap a day. In a safe and nurturing environment, your little adventurer will find his voice, make new friends and develop confidence in newfound abilities.

  • Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 years)

    Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)

Let us help your 2-year-old develop her independence and confidence in a setting that encourages a sense of community. We plan your child's activities based on a program grounded in early childhood fundamentals. Your young learner will increase her language ability, practice early counting skills and learn to cooperate with friends through group activities.

  • Preschool Programs (3-4 years)

    Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)

Preschool kids are in the process of becoming confident learners. We take their confidence to the next level with hands-on education. Your 3- to 4-year-old child is ready for structured learning activities that touch on early literacy, math, science and social studies. Our program balances these subjects with opportunities for independent exploration – and a healthy dose of running, jumping and dancing.

  • Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 years)

    Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

With our expert educators guiding the way, your child will feel confident taking the big step into the kindergarten classroom. With lower student-to-teacher ratios, your child will get more individualized attention. Our comprehensive, full-day kindergarten program encompasses reading, language, math, science, arts and physical fitness to keep your child excited about school. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so your child will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

The Cooking Adventures program introduces young chefs to recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza and proper nutrition.

  • Math

    Math Adventures

Math Adventures teaches concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height and weight, as well as shapes and solids. Math is everywhere, and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

  • Music

    Music Adventures

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason and create. Your child will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments. Note by note, he may identify an early passion for music and will gain confidence to perform well in all aspects of his young life.

  • Phonics & Reading

    Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. We engage your child with customized books, games and activity cards to help him master the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and an even greater command of the language.

Holidays Observed & Professional Development Days

We are closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.  Please note that if one of these Holidays fall on a Saturday we will be closed the Friday prior and if it falls on a Sunday we will be closed the following Monday.

Upcoming Events

  • February's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Feelings + The Farm

This month, infants and toddlers will explore a very important aspect of human development: feelings. Babies are just beginning to develop a sense of who they are in relation to others, while toddlers are learning how to interact with those around them. Feelings are integral to human interaction, so activities will focus on identifying emotions (like happy, sad, and mad). We’ll read books, paint a mural, sing songs, and play games related to emotions and how we express them.

The children in Discovery Preschool will take their learning to the farm! Farms are filled with so many science- and social science-based learning opportunities that children love. They’ll learn all about barns and farming equipment, which animals are raised on a farm, and which crops are grown there, too.

Children 4–5 years old: Occupations and Dinosaurs

The older children in Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten will spend time on two very popular themes: occupations and (roar!) dinosaurs. We’ll focus on learning about jobs that help people, like doctors, and those that inspire, like artists and musicians. As children learn about these occupations, they’ll play dress up, invent things, create charts and graphs, and learn the Spanish words for different jobs. The dinosaur unit gives them a chance to learn more about these fascinating giant creatures, learn about fossils, explore volcanoes, and do math puzzles with pretend dino eggs!

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Amazing Animals

Animals really are amazing, and this month the children in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms are learning all about them. We’ll read about both domestic and wild animals and base our activities and play around them as well. Besides singing songs, crafting, and talking about different animals, we’ll also bring in pictures of our pets, make our own animal sounds and movements, and incorporate animals into cognitive, literacy, and mathematic learning appropriate for each age group. For example, the older children in Discovery Preschool will count goldfish crackers or spots on a dog, while the littlest ones will keep developing their senses by sorting and playing with stuffed animals that have different kinds of pretend fur. This is a very sweet and fun unit for children in each class!

Children 4–5 years old: The Sky and Weather + My Imagination

The four- and five-year-olds will turn their attention to the sky and explore the bounds of their own imaginations this month. Children will learn how clouds and different kinds of weather are created, and do fun theme-related activities like create whipped-topping storm clouds or pretend to be a weather reporter. Our Transitional Kindergarten class will take their learning even farther by doing basic research into how rainbows are formed. The second half of the month will give children a big chance to express themselves through art, music, and drama. We’ll use classic stories like The Three Little Pigs to spark children’s creativity and see where their imaginations lead. As always, we weave our themes into literacy and math activities, and place a focus on building both English and Spanish vocabulary. i
