Frequently Asked Questions
General Transition Questions
When will the center transition to CCLC?
The Center will transition to CCLC's management on May 5, 2008.
Will my child’s teacher remain at the center?
Our goal is to retain all current center staff. February 21st and 22nd CCLC team members will meet with the current staff to discuss employment opportunities. Many of the teachers have already contacted CCLC to set up meetings. We feel confident that the teaching staff is committed to the center most will remain at the P&G Center.
What types of schedules will be offered?
The center will continue to offer the same schedules as it currently offers. Any changes to the schedules offered must be approved by P&G and families would be notified with at least 30 days advance notice. However, at this time, CCLC and P&G see no reason to change the schedules and they will remain in tact.
Who is CCLC?

Who selected CCLC as the Provider?
The P&G child care committee opened up an RFP process to all interested child care Providers. Proposals were received from several local and national childcare companies. The Child Care Committee selected CCLC because of their proven track record as a strong provider of employer sponsored child care, their experience developing corporate child care programs, their successful experience transitioning centers and their commitment to NAEYC Accreditation. Will the daily child sign-in and out procedures change?
CCLC utilizes a home grown child care software management system, COS. Starting May 5, 2008 families will use the COS system to sign your child in and out of the center each day. The COS system allows the center director to maintain and manage classroom ratios, communicate with families and staff as well as house all student and staff information.
How will CCLC keep families informed of changes?
Communication is a key factor in achieving a successful transition. We will reach out to families in a number of ways. First and foremost, CCLC senior management team members will be on site regularly to host parent meetings and meet with staff. We know that your primary concern is knowing who will directly care for and work with your child each day. Constancy in staffing is our primary concern as well. As each classroom's teaching staff is finalized, we will update the website by classroom to include the teacher's names and a brief bio for any new teachers. The website calendar of events will also be updated with important dates such as parent events and due dates for any required paper work.
Families can also join our center transition e-mail group. Simply click here and provide us with your name and all e-mail address at which you would like to receive center transition communications. Communications will be sent out regularly.
Enrollment
Do I need to re-enroll in the center?
To help us plan a smooth transition, all current families will be asked to complete a very short "Pre-enrollment" form. This form will simply indicate to CCLC your enrollment plans effective May 5, 2008 (i.e. remain enrolled, remain enrolled with a request to change schedules or withdraw from the center completely). This form will be made available to families in mid-February and will be due back by February 28th. Please note, in no situation will a family who is currently enrolled in the center lose their child's space, all spaces are secure unless the family submits a withdrawal to CCLC via the above mentioned form. For families indicating they will remain in the center, they will need to complete the CCLC enrollment application and financial agreement.
How can I obtain my child’s records from Bright Horizons?
You can request copies of your child’s file from them at any time.
When can I enroll if I am not currently in the center?
CCLC is reviewing the current enrollment and waitlist to determine the availability status in each age group. The current waitlist will remain in tact, you will not lose your spot. If you are not on the waiting list but would like to be added, please submit a center interest form to CCLC at 888-678-6783.
You will be contacted after May 5, 2008 by the center director to touch base with you on enrollment options for you and your child.

Curriculum
What is Guided Discovery Curriculum?
CCLC's curriculum facilitates learning in a developmental-based, thematic and multicultural manner for each age group. CCLC views learning as a process that requires a balance between child-initiated and staff-initiated activities. These developed activities incorporate and understand the developmental level of each group while ensuring children are properly prepared for Kindergarten.
Childrens' Creative Learning Centers utilizes its exclusive Guided Discovery Curriculum™ in its centers, incorporating physical, social, language, cognitive and emotional development. Guided Discovery is rooted in educational philosophy and theory as well as practice. It relies heavily on Erik Erikson's stages of socio-emotional development, Jean Piaget's theories of how children think and learn, and on principles of physical development. The curriculum is reflective of the criteria set by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accreditation process.
Tuition
What are the tuition rates?
