As Center Director, Joanna’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Joanna acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Joanna has been with CCLC since August 2008 and has been in the field for over eight years. She has a BS in Human Development with a Minor in Psychology. She loves anything outdoors including camping, hiking, running, and playing sports. What she loves most about her job is hearing children’s laughter and seeing their smiles. Joanna’s favorite center activity is interacting with the children.
