As Center Director, Yasmeen’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care.  She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers.  She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center.  She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Yasmeen acts as the on-site point of contact with our employer sponsor answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Yasmeen has been at Fox CDC for over 10 years and has almost 32 years of experience in the field of early childhood education.  She holds her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Yasmeen and her husband, David, have three children and Yasmeen has a step-daughter and grandson – who recently celebrated his 8^th birthday at Skateland, Yasmeen is inspired by seeing growth in children, in faculty and in parents, and to feel tangibly a cohesive community.  She has particularly enjoyed seeing the new faculty this year at Fox CDC really bond as team members and as a community. What she loves most about her job is the daily variety of situations and challenges. Yasmeen’s favorite center activity is the parent conferences.
