As Center Director, Kim’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Kim acts as the on-site point of contact with Paramount answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.
Kim has been with CCLC since 2009 and in the field for 15 years. She has a BA in Child Development, a Masters in Education and is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership. Kim has seven children, four that are adopted! She enjoys working on her dissertation, reading, writing and being a mom. She likes working with staff and the families as a whole at the center and loves watching the center come alive and grow! Her favorite center activity is the parent and me events.
Program Information
Paramount Farms Child Development Center uses an exclusive educational program which provides unlimited opportunities for the development of the whole child. There's a unique curriculum for every age level, centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities that help children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Center provides care to Paramount Farms and Paramount Farming employees as well as to members of the Avenal community.

Holidays Observed: We are closed New Year's Day, President's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and two professional training dates during the year.
