Welcome to Children’s Creative Learning Centers (CCLC) and The UPC Child Development Center. Our program serves the USC affiliates and community members in the Los Angeles, CA area.
CCLC is honored to be working with USC to provide high quality child care to its students and employees. Our team looks forward to continuing to developing strong working relationships with the families, children and staff of the UPC Child Development Center.

Hi my name is Paula Lamar and I am the Director here at CCLC-UPC.
I began my experience in the child development field in 1995 and have been involved in teacher training, curriculum development and parent education. In addition, I served on the City Child Care Committee Board in collaboration with various city providers ensuring quality child care as our common goal for the community that we served. Prior to my experience as a supervisor I taught preschool children ages 6 weeks- Kindergarten. I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and I am in the process of completing my Masters in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
I have a passion for working with children and families as well as training and supporting staff in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, which builds a foundation for early learning.

The CCLC-UPC provides a unique environment that meets children's developmental and physical wellness needs as well as the current national and state safety standards for a child care center.
Opening Hours: 7:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
Closing Hours: 6:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Eco-Healthy Child Care
CCLC is committed to being eco-responsible and providing eco-healthy environments for children. CCLC-UPC will be certified as an endorsed Eco-Healthy Child Care Center, and will meet all requirements established by the Oregon Environmental Council and Children's Environmental Health Network.

Services & Facilities
CCLC-UPC offers a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum with low teacher / child ratios. The center is currently NAEYC accredited.
