As Center Director, Nancy’s role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for the children in her care. She is devoted to the well being of everyone in her center – children, families and teachers. She develops and maintains strong relationships with the children and their families in her center. She encourages parent involvement and establishes a sense of trust and security so that parents are comfortable at work knowing that their child is in a nurturing environment. In addition, Nancy acts as the on-site point of contact with UMDNJ answering everyday questions and maintaining a positive relationship.

Nancy has more than 35 years experience in the early childhood education field. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a Center Director at various locations for 30 years.  Nancy’s experience includes working as a NAEYC Validator and a Peer Mentor. Nancy’s specialization has been in managing employer-sponsored programs. Nancy has been with CCLC since 2007. She enjoys reading, relaxing with a good cup of coffee and spending time with family and friends. What she loves most about her job is the challenges and rewards of growing children, families, and staff. Nancy’s favorite center activity is Parent’s Night Out.
